The Sagitta 76 features Komfi's double action feeding head for reliable sheet feeding, even at high speeds and with small formats. The front lay register ensures precise and consistent sheet overlap, while the sheet overlap sensor helps protect the pressure roller from film sticking in the event of a misfeed.
Stable, low-tolerance sheet overlap is particularly beneficial for jobs where the printed area is close to the edge of the paper, helping reduce material waste. Reliable feeding and easily adjustable sheet registration also enable trouble-free two-sided lamination while reducing the risk of misfeeds or double sheets during the second pass.
Powerful Laminating Unit
A powerful pneumatic pressure system helps ensure excellent and consistent lamination results across a wide range of applications. The adjustable spread roller smooths difficult films before they reach the laminating roller, while the PUR pressure roller is designed for extended roller life.
Zone heating of the laminating roller reduces energy consumption when processing small formats by heating only the required areas. A temperature sensor inside the cylinder provides highly precise temperature regulation.
Reliable Separation and Delivery
For dependable film separation at high production speeds, the Sagitta 76 is equipped with rotary separation knives and a pneumatically driven separation roller. A built-in perforator supports trouble-free sheet separation and can also be used for special applications where a knife is not suitable.
The automatic pneumatic skew wheel increases separation reliability across a wide range of jobs, particularly when processing long sheets.
For demanding applications, the optional hot knife provides clean separation of thick, PET and Nylon films without flagging.
