Önder Babataş: “We can include you in the digital world very quickly”
Matset A.Ş., the sponsor of the October meeting of the Cardboard Packaging Manufacturers Association (KASAD), met with KASAD members. At the meeting, KASAD members were informed about HP PageWide corrugated packaging and HP Indigo's cardboard packaging solutions, as well as the company's technical service structure and services.
Matset A.Ş. Önder Babataş, Sales Manager responsible for digital products, made a presentation in which he gave examples of applications made on HP Indigo printing machines that add value to packaging.

One of the biggest handicaps of our industry is counterfeit products. This problem is especially prominent in the cosmetics industry. There is a loss of 654 billion dollars due to fraud in the cosmetics industry and related death and injury cases. HP also produces solutions in this context.

Babataş gave information about the campaigns organized by the brands with this application. For example, with HP Indigo, personalized and customized prints for personalized promotional campaigns can be made. Or a coffee brand can print its coffee packages with the newspaper headlines of the day and put them on its shelves every day. Such applications increase the value of the product sold and can enable it to be sold in the 'premium' product category. In the presentation, applications that can only be realized with digital printing were also shown. Mosaic was also applied to the badges of the KASAD event and the gift box was also personalized.

Providing information about Matset A.Ş.'s technical service structure and work, Service Director Ceyda Berek says the following:
“Sales sells the first machine, service sells the second machine. I think we are good as a technical service because we sell second and third machines to many of our customers. In fact, one of the biggest factors when purchasing the first machine and choosing the brand is that the brand has a strong, competent technical service.
We have an expert team of 23 people. 16 field engineers are in Istanbul, 2 engineers are in Izmir and 1 engineer is in Ankara. We provide technical service to more than 400 installed machines of brands within Matset. Our spare parts stock is capable of supporting 90% of all brands and all machines. Our engineers have been providing all operator training for the last three years. Operators do not need to go abroad.”

Our customers can use special inks, special data, personalization, etc. We support business development projects.
We provide service field support and preventive maintenance. We closely monitor preventive maintenance to prevent unexpected machine downtime.
We make machine software and hardware updates.
