DRM Design and Printing partners Mehmet Kurtuldu and Yüksel Derman, who installed the LND Label Master 330 roll offset printing machine they purchased from Matset A.Ş., answered our questions.< /p>
- Can you give information about your company, including your capacity, staff and which sectors you serve with which products?
As DRM Design and Printing; We are a company that has made it our mission to provide quality service and product groups by adhering to ethical values. Our company, which entered the sector as a design company, currently continues its commercial presence in the roll label industry.
As DRM Design and Printing; Before printing (photography, design, etc.), in production and after printing, with our experienced staff, we provide effective quality in all processes from raw material entry to product delivery, with our wide product portfolio for food, textile, cosmetics, plastic, beverage and other special sectors. We provide service with our large staff of 32 people in total.
- What difficulties did you experience in production? What challenges will the new machine solve?
We were experiencing difficulties in both meeting demands and increasing costs in production. We believe that once our roll offset printing machine is installed and put into operation, we will find a solution to the difficulties we experienced before, by increasing our competitiveness and capacity, and at the same time, having the chance to reduce our costs.
- Where did the need for a roll offset label printing machine arise? What criteria did you look at in supplier selection?
The limited response of our current letterpress printing machine to the increasing demand and need for high-quality labels led us to new generation roll offset printing machines, which we think we can offer offset quality to our customers in roll form. We had full confidence that Matset A.Ş., one of the pioneers of the printing industry in Turkey, whose experience and reliability we believe in, was the right solution partner for investing in roll offset printing machines. - You use offset and letterpress printing technologies, which one will determine your route in production in the medium and long term?
In our company, we currently use letterpress and roll offset technology for short runs, the installation of our roll offset machine will add even more power to us. Although our idea of investing in offset and digital machines comes to the fore in the medium term, we also closely follow flexo printing technology with the idea that our circulation will increase in the long term.
